About the Band

Bushwood is a diversified classic rock / rhythm & blues band with a vast selection of songs from 1955 through the 60's, 70's and forward, drawing upon a cross selection of musical genres, styles and artists. They have played a wide variety of South Coast venues since the early 1990's and often tailor customized set lists for their gigs according to the occasion. Bushwood will take you back to a different time that was special to you and your era. Bushwood was formed in Phil's garage on a Friday night sometime in 1993. The name comes from the country club in the movie "Caddyshack", a band favorite. Major band influences include the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Tom Petty and anything that is good classic rock & roll.
